Section R. 125.1008 - Pre-hearing conferenceRule 8.
(1) At any time before a hearing, the presiding officer, on his or her own motion or a motion of a party, may direct the parties to exchange information or to participate in a pre-hearing conference for the purpose of considering matters which tend to simplify the issues or expedite the proceedings.(2) The presiding officer may issue a pre-hearing statement which shall include the arrangements reached by the parties. The statement shall be served on the parties and shall be a part of the record.Mich. Admin. Code R. 125.1008
