(1) In addition to the collection of information and documents necessary to determine compliance during a licensure survey or complaint investigation, the department may also collect non-personally identifiable patient information and aggregated data from licensees including, but not limited to, all of the following: (a) Availability of services.(d) Morbidity and mortality data.(e) Volume of care provided to patients.(2) Prior to any data collection under this rule, the department shall establish an informal advisory group, with representation from providers, to determine the data elements to be collected.(3) The licensee shall provide the required data on an individual basis for each licensed site in a format and media designated by the department.(4) The department may elect to verify the data through onsite review of appropriate records.Mich.
