Section R. 325.45129 - Admission; policy; procedureRule 129.
(1) A health facility or agency shall have a written admission policy and procedure that is provided to the patient or any other person or agency responsible for the patient upon request.(2) An admitting diagnosis must be recorded promptly on each patient.(3) At the time of admission of a patient, a physician must be designated to be responsible for the medical care of the patient. This designation may be transferred to another physician who accepts responsibility for the medical care of the patient in accordance with the health facility or agencys policy and procedures.Mich.
