(1) A licensee shall maintain the approved physical space to support the number of beds listed on the license in compliance with article 17 and these rules.(2) If a patient room is being utilized for another purpose, the department may reduce the licensees bed capacity if the licensee cannot demonstrate compliance with subrule (1) of this rule within 48 hours, unless the licensee has an approved building program agreement with the department in accordance with section 20144 of the code, MCL 333.20144.Mich.
