Section R. 418.10911 - Billing requirements for ancillary servicesRule 911.
(1) A bill for the following ancillary services shall include a copy of a written prescription by a licensed practitioner. Documentation of a prescription drug or medical supply in the clinical record shall constitute the prescription for services dispensed in a practitioner's office or in a health care organization. (a) Prescription medications.(b) Medical supplies and equipment, except when dispensed by a facility or health care organization.(c) Hearing aids, shoes, and wigs.(d) Home health services.(e) Orthoses and prostheses.(f) Physical and occupational therapy.Mich.
