Section R. 333.5023 - ViolationsRule 23.
(1) Under authority of MCL 333.13536, the department may obtain an injunction or other court order prohibiting a violation of the act, a rule, an order, or a registration condition issued under the act.(2) Under the authority of MCL 333.2262, the department, in addition to taking other enforcement action, may impose a civil penalty, not to exceed $1,000 for each violation, on a person who violates the act, a rule, an order, or a registration condition issued under the act. Each day that a violation continues shall constitute a separate violation.(3) A person who violates the act, a rule, an order, or a registration condition issued under the act may be guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, may be fined, imprisoned, or both, as provided by law.Mich.
