(1) The following federal occupational safety and health administration (OSHA) regulations are adopted by reference in these rules: (a) 1910.146 "Permit Required Confined Spaces," effective December 27, 2011.(b) Appendix A "Permit-required confined space decision flow chart," effective December 1, 1998.(c) Appendix B "Procedures for atmospheric testing," effective June 29, 1993.(d) Appendix C "Examples of permit-required confined space programs," effective June 29, 1993.(e) Appendix D "Confined space pre-entry check list," effective June 29, 1993.(f) Appendix E "Sewer system entry," effective May 19, 1994.(g) Appendix F "Rescue team or rescue service evaluation criteria," effective December 1, 1998.(2) The regulations adopted in these rules have the same force and effect as rules promulgated under 1974 PA 154, the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Act (MIOSHA), MCL 408.1001 to 408.1094.(3) The regulations adopted in these rules are available from the United States Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration website: www.osha.gov, at no charge as of the time of adoption of these rules.(4) The regulations adopted in these rules are available for inspection at the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, MIOSHA Regulatory Services Section, 530 West Allegan Street, P.O.
