(1) A foam system installed or that portion of the system modified after December 31, 1983, shall be installed, modified, and maintained as prescribed in N.F.P.A. standards #11-1978, "Foam Extinguishing Systems," #11A-1981, "High Expansion Foam Systems," and #11B-1977, "Synthetic Foam and Combined Agent Systems," as adopted by reference in R 408.10999(e), (f), and (g).(2) Foam-water sprinkler systems and foam-water spray systems installed or that portion of the system modified after December 31, 1983, shall be installed and maintained as prescribed in N.F.P.A. standard #16-1980, "Foam-Water Sprinkler Systems and Foam-Water Spray Systems," as adopted by reference in R 408.10999(h).Mich.
