(1) Piling of pulpwood shall allow for a clearance of at least 24 inches between the pile and the crane cab turned at any working position.(2) Piling of pulpwood along a standard-gage track shall allow for a clearance of 8 1/2 feet from the center line of the track to the pile.(3) Logs shall not project from a pile into a walkway or roadway.(4) Ends of a woodpile shall be sloped or crosstiered into the pile.(5) Mechanical equipment shall be used to knock down wood from a woodpile.Mich.
