Section R. 408.15723 - Traveling blocks and crown blocksRule 5723.
(1) A traveling block and its component parts shall be designed, constructed, and maintained as prescribed in API SPEC 8A-1976, entitled "Specifications for Drilling and Production Hoisting Equipment," which is adopted herein by reference and may be inspected at the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, MIOSHA Standards Section, 7150 Harris Drive, P.O. Box 30643, Lansing, Michigan, 48909-8143.
