Section R. 408.15358 - Cant hooks, cant dogs, tongs, and carrying barsRule 5358.
(1) The hooks of a cant hook, cant dog, tongs, or carrying bar shall be firmly set before applying pressure.(2) The point of a hook shall be not less than 2 inches (50.8 mm) long and maintained sharp.(3) Other employees shall be warned and in the clear before a log is moved.(4) When rolling a log, the employee shall stand to the rear and uphill.Mich.
