Section R. 408.13359 - Eyecup ventilationRule 3359.
(1) Eyecups of chipper's models shall be ventilated in a manner to permit circulation of air.(2) Eyecups of dust and splash models shall be ventilated in a manner to permit circulation of air. The ventilation openings shall be baffled or screened to prevent direct passage of dust or liquids into the interior of the eyecups.(3) Eyecups of welder's and cutter's models shall be ventilated in a manner to permit circulation of air and shall be opaque. The ventilation openings shall be baffled to prevent passage of light rays into the interior of the eyecup.Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.13359
