Section R. 408.12369 - Die settingRule 2369.
(1) A die setting procedure shall be established that will: (a) Insure that enclosure guards or protective devices are used and properly installed prior to production, and(b) Require the diesetter or authorized personnel to ascertain that all point of operation safety devices are effective before releasing the press for operation.(2) Stops shall be provided to prevent losing control of the die while setting or removing the die on an inclined press.Mich.
