(1) The installation, inspection, testing, marking, and certification of a pressure vessel shall be as prescribed in ASME "Boiler and pressure vessel code," Section viii on "Unfired pressure vessels," 1989 edition, as adopted in R 408.40105.(2) An employer shall not use a boiler to perform construction operations unless the employer has a valid certification issued by the boiler division of the Michigan department of licensing and regulatory affairs.Mich.
