Section R. 395.57 - Eligibility criteriaRule 7.
(1) An individual is eligible for MRS services if, after an assessment has been conducted, MRS determines that the individual meets both of the following: (a) Has a physical or mental impairment which, for the individual, constitutes or results in a substantial impediment to employment.(b) Requires MRS to prepare for, secure, retain, advance in, or regain employment consistent with the individuals unique strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests, and informed choice. For purposes of an assessment for determining eligibility and vocational rehabilitation needs under the act, an individual shall be presumed to have a goal of an employment outcome.Mich. Admin.
