(1) A mediator may hold separate or joint conferences with parties or their representatives, and the conferences shall be private unless otherwise mutually agreed by the parties and the mediator.(2) A mediation conference may be conducted at a date, time, and place agreed to by a mediator and the parties or their representatives, except that the mediator may designate the date, time, and place of a conference.Mich.
