Section R. 325.22203 - Medical control authority; denial, revocation, or suspension of designationRule 203.
(1) The department may deny, revoke, limit, or suspend designation of a medical control authority upon finding that the medical control authority meets 1 or more of the following:(a) Is guilty of fraud or deceit in securing its medical control designation.(b) Has failed to perform in accordance with the terms of its designation and its department-approved protocols.(c) Has not maintained minimum criteria for medical control authorities, as established by the department.(d) Has failed to develop protocols as identified in the code to protect the public health.(2) If the department denies, revokes, limits, or suspends a medical control authority designation, then the department shall designate a medical control authority to serve that medical control authority area.(3) The department shall provide notice of intent to deny, revoke, limit, or suspend medical control authority designation and provide for a hearing in accordance with the code and the administrative procedures act of 1969, 1969 PA 306, MCL 24.201 to 24.328.Mich.
