(1) Where full board review, but not an evidentiary hearing, is requested, the board shall review the record and any additional information in support of the appeal.(2) If an evidentiary hearing is requested, one shall be held and the board shall do the following: (b) Administer oaths or affirmations.(c) Examine any person under oath or affirmation.(d) Issue subpoenas requiring the attendance and testimony of witnesses and the production of books, papers, documents and other evidence.(e) Review the record and any additional material in support of the claim.(3) The board, in its discretion, for good cause shown, may consider additional information submitted at the hearing.Mich.
