Section R. 330.11016 - Civil money penalty collectionRule 11016.
(1) A civil money penalty shall be collected through voluntary transmittal.(2) A civil money penalty shall be paid by check made payable to the "State of Michigan." A penalty shall be paid within 30 calendar days of receipt of the initial notice of penalty or within 15 days of the issuance of appeal results. A repayment schedule shall not be allowed.(3) If voluntary transmittal of the full penalty amount does not occur, the civil money penalty shall be recovered by gross adjustment against the next available medicaid warrant.Mich.
