(1) The governing/advisory board of affected CAAs may appeal the decision of the executive director to designate a CAA or to rescind or change the designation of a CAA. The appeal shall be made in writing to the director.(2) The director shall, within 10 business days of the notice of an appeal, assign the matter to a hearings officer for the purpose of holding a hearing and making findings of fact, conclusions of law, and a proposed decision.(3) The hearing shall be conducted pursuant to the provisions of R 400.19701.(4) The director shall provide notification of all appeals to the commission.Mich.
