Section R. 400.19202 - Low-income needs determinationRule 202.
(1) The bureau shall systematically determine the need for services to low-income persons on an ongoing basis by focusing on statewide, institutional, and community-based settings. Needs shall be based on demographic, social, and economic indicators.(2) The bureau shall use data, findings, and conclusions resulting from the determination of need for all of the following:(a) Preparing and developing the appropriate state plans.(b) Establishing standards and criteria for grantee plans.(c) Establishing priorities or limitations of grants or contracts.(d) Preparing the annual report to the governor, legislature, and the public under the provisions of section 5 of the act.Mich.
