(1) A facility shall have and follow written policy and procedure which stipulates that residents shall not be subjected to any of the following: (a) Corporal or cruel punishment.(d) Punitive interference with daily physiological functions.(2) A facility shall have and follow written discipline policy and procedure that specify acts which are prohibited within the facility and penalties that may be imposed for minor misbehavior and major violations.(a) The policy and procedures shall be posted in a conspicuous place.(b) A copy shall be given and explained to each resident and staff member.Mich.
