(1) A person shall not remove state property from department buildings or grounds unless the removal has been previously authorized in writing by the director of the department or the director.(2) Authorized staff may inspect briefcases, packages, or other items being transported into or out of department buildings, grounds, or parking facilities for the presence of state property.Mich.
