Section R. 330.2008 - Outpatient servicesRule 2008.
( 1) Outpatient services include all the following: (a) Diagnostic and evaluation service.(c) Counseling service by arrangement at scheduled intervals and in nonscheduled visits at times of increased stress.(d) Service to families of individuals in mental hospitals or residential facilities, as appropriate and as requested.(e) Life consultation and planning for the persons with intellectual disabilities, and persons with developmental disabilities as defined in section 100a of the act.(f) Treatment service to individuals in mental hospitals or residential facilities when appropriate with the consent of the individual and the hospital or facility staff person in charge of the individual's plan of service.( 2) The community mental health services provider outpatient services shall be made available at times of the day and week appropriate to meet the needs of the population served.( 3) Outpatient services shall be accessible to the population served.( 4) Provision for adequate and appropriate space to deliver services, including provision for privacy and the special needs of children, adolescents, and physically handicapped persons shall be provided by the community mental health services provider.Mich.
