Section R. 299.40 - Availability of information used by department to establish cleanup criteria; public review and comment on revised criteriaRule 40.
(1) The department shall make available to the public the detailed basis for calculation of any cleanup criterion established under these rules, including the references for original studies, papers, or other sources of information that were used or considered. Requests for information under this rule shall specify the hazardous substance and exposure pathways for which information is desired.(2) Any proposed change to a criterion shall be published by the department and subject to review and comment as part of the rule-making process.Mich.
