(1) A permittee proposing to begin mining shall submit written notice to the department of the date mining will commence at least 30 days before commencing new mining activities.(2) A permittee who has ceased all mining activities for a period of 90 days or more shall submit written notice to the department of the date mining activities will resume at least 30 days before resumption of mining activities.Mich.
