Section R. 324.1007 - Notice of serious accident; reportingRule 1007.
(1) A person shall immediately notify the supervisor or authorized representative of the supervisor of a serious accident that has created, or may create, a fire or other hazard that may cause waste. The notification shall be made within 8 hours of the accident, by telephone, and shall give the particulars of the accident. A detailed written report shall be submitted to the supervisor or authorized representative of the supervisor within 15 days of the accident.(2) If a person cannot contact the supervisor or authorized representative of the supervisor after an accident, then the person shall immediately telephone the pollution emergency alerting system.Mich.
