Section R. 425.11 - Reclamation upon termination or abandonmentRule 11.
(1) An operator shall remove all worthless debris and rubbish from the plantsite and mining area within 1 year of the date of termination of operations or abandonment of the property.(2) A mining area shall be reclaimed by an operator pursuant to the act, these rules, and the reclamation plan within 2 years after abandonment or within the time set forth in the operator's reclamation plan approved by the supervisor.(3) Upon written request of an operator, the supervisor may grant an extension of the reclamation period if necessary to accomplish acceptable reclamation.Mich.
