Section R. 325.5240 - Disposal by burial in soil or incineration

Rule 240.

(1) Burial sites shall be licensed by the department upon application submitted in accordance with Rules 101 and 102. Burial shall be in a controlled area.

(2) A licensee shall not incinerate radioactive material for the purpose of disposal or preparation for disposal except as specifically approved by the department pursuant to Rules 212 and 238.
