Section R. 299.9517 - Operating license for new facilities or the expansion, enlargement, or alteration of existing facilities; denialRule 517.
(1) The director shall deny an application for an operating license for a new facility or the expansion, enlargement, or alteration of an existing facility if the proposed treatment, storage, or disposal facility would violate part 111 of the act or these rules.(2) The applicant is on notice that the director shall deny the operating license for a new facility or the expansion, enlargement, or alteration of an existing facility in either of the following situations: (a) The applicant has not submitted the appropriate permit fee.(b) The applicant has not submitted sufficiently detailed or accurate information to enable the director to make reasonable judgments as to whether the facility could comply with part 111 of the act and these rules.(3) The director shall notify the applicant, in writing, of reasons for denial.Mich.
