Section R. 325.10505 - Type II public water supplies generallyRule 505. A type II public water supply shall meet all of the following general requirements and other specific requirements as prescribed by the act and these rules:
(a) Obtain operators that are certified in treatment systems where treatment is employed that may affect public health.(b) Provide a source of water that is in compliance with the requirements of part 8 of these rules or a source that is approved by the department. In either case, the source of water shall comply with all of the requirements of parts 6 and 10 or parts 24, 25, and 26 of these rules.(c) Monitor for contaminants at prescribed frequencies as required by part 7 of these rules.(d) Submit waterworks system operation reports where treatment is employed that may affect public health and shall maintain records as required in part 15 of these rules.(e) Comply with all applicable state and local plumbing codes.(f) Obtain permits from the department in accordance with the provisions of the act and part 13 of these rules.Mich.
