Section R. 325.10408b - Special notice for nitrate exceedances above MCL by noncommunity water supplies (NCWS); permission granted by departmentRule 408b.
(1) A noncommunity water supply granted permission by the department under R 325.10604c (3) to exceed the nitrate MCL shall provide notice to persons served according to the requirements for a tier 1 notice under R 325.10402 (1) and (2).(2) A noncommunity water supply granted permission by the department to exceed the nitrate MCL under R 325.10604c (3) shall provide continuous posting of the fact that nitrate levels exceed 10 mg/l and the potential health effects of exposure, according to the requirements for tier 1 notice delivery under R 325.10402 (3) and the content requirements under R 325.10405.Mich.
