Section R. 325.1711 - Public representations and advertising

Rule 211.

(1) A person shall not cause any word or words to be used in any contract, business form, document, sign, display, or other advertising medium which indicate or imply that a person, firm, partnership, or corporation is engaging in the business of well drilling, as defined in R 325.1606, or in the installation of pumps and pumping equipment, as defined in R 325.1604, unless that person, firm, partnership, or corporation has obtained a certificate of registration from the department.
(2) A person who is registered pursuant to the provisions of section 12704 of the act shall not use, in any contract, business form, document, sign, display, or other advertising medium, a name other than the name that is filed with the department or a registration number other than the registration number that is issued by the department.
