Section R. 336.1364 - Visible emissions from basic oxygen furnace operations

Rule 364.

(1) A person shall not cause or permit to be discharged to the outer air, from a basic oxygen furnace secondary control device, a visible emission with a density of more than 20% opacity.

(2) A person shall not cause or permit to be discharged to the outer air, from a basic oxygen furnace shop roof monitor, a visible emission with a density of more than 20% opacity.

(3) Compliance with the limits of this rule shall be determined using reference method 9C.
