Section R. 285.562.9 - Labeling and marking of distribution terminal storage tanks

Rule 9. Storage tanks located at a distribution terminal must be clearly identified as to the content by either of the following:

(a) Attaching a label to the tank that states the commodity being stored.

(b) Attaching a color or symbol to the tank that designates the commodity being stored. When utilizing a color or symbol system a chart or code designating the color or symbol designations shall be posted on premise and made available to the department upon request.
