Section 30.04.05.04 - InstructorsA. All non-distance education continuing education courses shall be taught by: (1) An ALS faculty member of an ALS education program;(2) An EMS Board approved proprietary education program instructor;(3) An EMS operational program medical director or designee who has experience or knowledge with the topic to be presented;(4) An EMD, emergency medical technician, or EMR instructor; or(5) A certified MICRB emergency services instructor.B. The following continuing education instructors shall teach skills at the level for which they are approved: (1) EMD instructors may only teach EMD material;(2) EMR instructors may only teach EMR material;(3) Emergency medical technician instructors may only teach BLS material;(4) ALS faculty may only teach material they are approved to teach in their ALS education program; and(5) MICRB-certified instructors may only teach the material they are approved to teach with their education program.Md.
