Section 26.16.02.08 - Invalid Certificate
A. A certificate is invalid if the inspector or risk assessor is not accredited at the time it is issued.
B. A certificate issued by an accredited inspector or risk assessor following procedures set forth in the lead paint inspection contractor's approved protocols, as required by COMAR 26.16.01.09 a, may be invalidated by the Department if:
(1) The accreditation of the lead paint inspection contractor had expired before the issuance of the certificate; and
(2) Application for renewal was not submitted to the Department in a timely manner.
