Section 26.04.08.08 - License Application Procedures - Scrap Tire Collection Facilities/Scrap Tire Recyclers

A. General Application Form. An applicant for a scrap tire collection facility license or a scrap tire recycler license shall complete and submit an application form provided by the Department. The content requirements of the general portion of the application are set forth in §B of this regulation. Specific application information requirements according to the facility type as set forth in Regulation .12 of this chapter shall be submitted with the general application, as applicable.

B. General Application Content. The application shall contain the following information:

(1) The name, facility location and mailing address, and telephone number of the owner or owners or resident agent of the facility;

(2) The manner in which scrap tires shall be collected or stored at the facility;

(3) The type and average quantity, by number or weight, of scrap tires projected to be on site at the facility at any given time;

(4) The maximum quantity, by number or weight, and type of scrap tires that can be accepted at the facility on a daily basis;

(5) The facility's ability to meet the technical and operational standards that apply to scrap tire storage set forth in Regulation .17 of this chapter, as applicable; and

(6) If the scrap tire facility is designated for inclusion in the scrap tire recycling system, certification by the county or municipal corporation in which the facility is to be located that the facility meets all local zoning and land use requirements.
