Section 15.20.13.01 - [Effective until 4/15/2025] Purpose and ScopeA. The purpose of this chapter is to establish requirements and control measures for the utilization of food processing residuals.B. These regulations specifically apply to all persons engaged in the following utilization activities of food processing residuals, or any product containing this food processing residuals, which is utilized in the State of Maryland:(1) Transportation, Regulations .12-14. of this chapter;(2) Storage facility. Regulations .15-.19 of this chapter; and(3) Agricultural land, Regulations .20-.23 of this chapter;C. A person may not engage in food processing residuals utilization in a manner which will likely: (1) Cause an undue risk to the environment or public health, safety, or welfare as may be determined by the Department;(2) Create a nuisance; or(3) Cause a discharge of constituents to waters of this State.Md.
