Section 10.54.01.23 - Non-English Materials

A. The Program shall accommodate the non-English-speaking individuals in the population eligible to be served as set forth in this chapter.

B. When the population eligible to be served needs services or information in a language other than English in order to be informed of or to participate in the Program, the local agency shall:

(1) Take reasonable steps to provide Program information in the appropriate language; and

(2) Ensure that the rights and responsibilities listed on the certification form are read to the applicant in the appropriate language.
