Section 10.54.01.15 - Dual Participation
A. A participant may not engage in dual participation.
B. The State agency in conjunction with the local agency is responsible for the detection and prevention within its program of dual participation.
C. The local agency shall take immediate actions to investigate and resolve all incidents of suspected Program abuse involving dual participation.
D. In order to prevent possible dual participation by an applicant, at certification the local agency shall verify the identity of each applicant and shall use the following to establish the identity of the infant or child applicant:
(1) Immunization record;
(2) Birth certificate; or
(3) Other record that the local agency considers adequate to establish the identity of an infant or child applicant.
