Section 10.51.06.02 - Employees - Character and Education Verification

A. A licensee shall establish and follow written procedures for verifying the background and education of forensic laboratory employees.

B. A licensee shall verify the background and education of an individual by a:

(1) Background investigation;

(2) Review of the individual's grade transcript from the college or university that the individual attended, that is:

(a) The original record or transcript document; or

(b) An official certified copy of the transcript;

(3) Test for abuse of controlled dangerous substances; and

(4) Polygraph examination, if available.
