Section 10.44.06.01 - Definitions

A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.

B. Terms Defined.

(1) "Board" means the State Board of Dental Examiners.

(2) "Dentist" means an individual who holds a current license to practice dentistry in Maryland.

(3) "General dentist" means a dentist not recognized by the Board as a specialist in an area of dental specialty.
