Section 10.44.04.27 - Authority to Prescribe and Administer Medication

A. The Board shall recognize the joint classification of recognized to prescribe and administer medication.

B. A dental hygienist may not prescribe or administer medication unless recognized by the Board as being qualified to do so as provided in this chapter.

C. A dental hygienist may not dispense medication.
