Section 10.44.04.14 - Requirements for Instructors for Local Anesthesia Course

If the Board-approved course of instruction in local anesthesia is taught by a dental hygienist, a dentist shall:

A. Be present in the classroom during clinical instruction, which includes but is not limited to the administration of local anesthesia; and

B. Be affiliated with the same dental hygiene program as the dental hygienist teaching the course.
