Section 10.28.12.05 - Monitoring of Complaint Investigation

A. The Board shall review complaints against optometrists relating to ocular therapeutics, management of primary open angle glaucoma, removal of superficial foreign bodies, and other aspects of practice by a therapeutically certified optometrist.

B. The Board's procedures for handling complaints are governed by Health Occupations Article, Title 11, Annotated Code of Maryland, COMAR 10.28.04, and State Government Article, 10-201-10-227, Annotated Code of Maryland.
