If a claimant is disqualified from receiving benefits or found ineligible for benefits under the Unemployment Insurance Law, the first week of disqualification shall be the calendar week in which the act on which the disqualification is based occurred, or the calendar week beginning with the Sunday immediately before the last day of work, whichever is later.
