Section 09.14.14.04 - Contestants' Safety Equipment

A. Male contestants shall wear:

(1) A foul-proof groin protector;

(2) Abdominal guard;

(3) Footpads; and

(4) Shin guards.

B. Female contestants shall wear:

(1) Foul-proof breast protectors; and

(2) A pelvic protective girdle which covers the pubic area, ovaries, coccyx, and side of hips.

C. Contestants shall meet the requirements of COMAR 09.14.04.07B.
