Section 08.18.09.09 - Choptank River - Denton

Forthe purpose of this regulation, the Choptank River encompasses all the waters of the Choptank River upstream of a line beginning at a point at the east shore of the Choptank River, at or near Lat. 38° 53.072' N., Long. 75° 50.333' W., then running 235° (True) to USCG Daymarker 80, at or near Lat. 38° 53.063' N., Long. 75° 50.348' W., then running 238° (True) to a point, at or near Lat. 38° 53.038' N., Long. 75° 50.400' W., and downstream of a line beginning at a point on the south shore of the Choptank River, at or near Lat. 38° 53.345' N., Long. 75° 50.115' W., then running 357° (True) to a point, at or near Lat. 38° 53.422' N., Long. 75° 50.120' W. This area has a 6-knot speed limit at all times during the boating season.
