Section 08.03.07.11 - Release of Captive-Raised Mallards

A. Except as provided for in §B of this regulation, a person may not release captive-raised mallard ducks to the wild.

B. Persons possessing the following permits from the Department may release captive-raised mallard ducks to the wild as authorized by their permit:

(1) Regulated shooting area permit issued pursuant to COMAR 08.03.13.02B;

(2) Retriever training permit issued pursuant to COMAR 08.03.09.09B; or

(3) Field trial permit issued pursuant to Natural Resources Article, § 10-701, Annotated Code of Maryland.
